Get in the Pink this Month

This October, Lisa Snowdon is asking people all over the country to get In the Pink for Breast Cancer Care. This will be one of the biggest fundraising campaigns that Breast Cancer Care has ever held and the charity hopes to raise over £500,000 from In the Pink supporters across the UK.  People can get In the Pink at anytime throughout the month, but the official In the Pink day is 21 October. Eat pink, drink pink, dress in pink…

You can get as creative as you like with your In the Pink event and make it completely unique. Breast Cancer Care are already looking forward to hearing how you plan to get In the Pink this October! Here are just a few ways you could get involved…

- Hold a fancy dress party where everyone has to dress in pink (Pink Panther, Pink Ladies, Bagpuss).

- Get everyone in your office to dress in pink for a day.  - Have a prize for the person who makes the most effort.

- Have a pink-themed quiz night.

- Have a pink pyjama party.

- Have a pink-themed dinner party.

Lisa says:  "I want as many people as possible to get In the Pink this October and raise money for Breast Cancer Care.  It's a fantastic charity, offering much needed support and information to people who are touched by breast cancer.  My grandmother had the

disease and I can't stress enough how important the work is that Breast Cancer Care carries out. Getting involved in In the Pink is simple - just get your friends together, dress up in pink and have fun!"

Official In the Pink T-shirts (as modelled by Lisa Snowdon) are also available at www.breastcancercare.org.uk for £13.50
